These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Pilates Room Website, online store, booking system, and services. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue the use of our Website and services.

2. Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

To ensure fairness and smooth scheduling for all clients:

• All sessions must be booked in advance through our Website or WhatsApp.

• Rescheduling must be made at least 12 hours before your session time.

• Late cancellations or no-shows will result in full deduction of the session.

• Duet sessions require both clients to attend. If one client cancels late, the session will still be counted as completed.

• Bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment.

3. Payments, Pricing & Stripe Charges

3.1 Payment Methods

The Pilates Room accepts:

• Stripe (Credit/Debit Cards)

• FPX

• GrabPay

• Bank Transfer

• Cash (in-studio)

3.2 Transparency of Stripe Charges

When payment is made via Stripe, the transaction includes Stripe’s standard processing fee.

The Pilates Room does not mark up, add profit, or increase these fees. Clients pay exactly the Stripe amount charged, with no hidden fees.

Stripe’s standard Malaysia rates (as of 2025):

• Credit/Debit Card: 3% + RM 1 per transaction

• Other methods (FPX, GrabPay, etc.) follow Stripe’s displayed rates at checkout.

Stripe may revise its fees, and the updated charges will automatically appear during checkout.

3.3 How Online Prices Are Calculated

Online prices shown on our Website include:

• The Pilates Room package price

• The exact Stripe fee

• Automatic calculation at checkout for full transparency

3.4 Calculation Formula for Online Payment

Total Payable = Package Price + (Package Price × 0.03) + RM 1

Where:

• 0.03 represents Stripe’s 3% processing fee

• RM 1 is Stripe’s fixed fee per transaction

3.5 Example Calculations

Package RM 1,000
3% of RM 1,000 = RM 30
Fixed fee = RM 1
Total Payable = RM 1,000 + RM 31 = RM 1,031

Package RM 3,600
3% of RM 3,600 = RM 108
Fixed fee = RM 1
Total Payable = RM 3,600 + RM 109 = RM 3,709

Package RM 800
3% of RM 800 = RM 24
Fixed fee = RM 1
Total Payable = RM 800 + RM 25 = RM 825

Clients who prefer to avoid Stripe fees may choose to pay via bank transfer, cash, or in-studio payment.

3.6 Refund and Transfer Policy

• All purchases are final and non-refundable.

• Transfers to another individual may be considered with written request and management approval.

• Prices may differ between online and in-studio payments due to payment gateway fees.

4. Session Validity

• All packages have a clearly stated validity period.

• Expired sessions are not refundable or extendable.

• Extensions may only be considered with valid medical documentation.

• Missed or unused sessions will not be refunded or replaced.

5. Health, Safety & Liability

By participating in any class or session at The Pilates Room, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are physically fit and able to participate in Pilates sessions.

• You have disclosed any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy to your instructor.

• You will stop any activity that causes discomfort or pain.

• You participate entirely at your own risk.

• The Pilates Room, its instructors, and management are not liable for injuries, health issues, or losses arising from participation.

6. Upcoming Services (Including TPR PhysioCare Sessions)

• Certain services, such as TPR PhysioCare Sessions, will be launched in Q1 2026.

• Equipment upgrades, pricing, and service availability may change without prior notice.

• Future services remain subject to facility readiness and regulatory requirements.

7. Website Content & Intellectual Property

• All content on this Website, including text, graphics, images, and logos, is owned by The Pilates Room.

• You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.

• Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

8. Comments, Reviews & User-Submitted Content
